	Hollywood Tower of Terror (1997) Steve Guttenberg plays down on his luck tabloid reporter Buzzy Crocker. Kirsten Dunst, as his neice Anna, goads him into writing a story based on fact. The now elderly sister of a Shirley Temple-like child star knocks on the door one afternoon to see if he can find out what happened to her sister. On Halloween 1939, the actress, her governess, a leading man, a singer and elevator operator enter the elevator as the just-opened Hollywood Tower Hotel to head for a swinging party in the top floor Tip Top Room nightclub & restaurant. The Tower is struck by lightning as the elevator ascends, but when the doors open in the Tip Top Room, the elevator is empty and its occupants are never seen again. Or are they? The hotel closes, never to be reopened until the mystery is solved. Over the years, reports of it being haunted surface. Buzzy meets the owner's great-grandson and caretaker, who wants the mystery solved so he can find out what happened to his grandfather (the elevator operator) and reopen the hotel and release "great-grand-dude's" fortune, locked in a trust until the mystery is solved. Strange things begin happen to Buzzy & Anna as they explore the long-deserved hotel... This is the "backstory" to the Walt Disney World Tower of Terror ride. Originally produced as a segment for ABC's Wonderful World of Disney, it's a pretty darn good little movie, perhaps a little simplistic for some, but nonetheless enjoyable.
	Psycho Beach Party - an over-the-top, hilarious spoof of the 60's Gidget & beach parties movies with a crazed killer mixed in.
	Die Mommy Die - if you liked Psycho Beach Party, you'll love this one, too. Another Charles Busch original spoofing a 40's singer thinking of a comeback while tied down with a wealthy, aging, controlling husband, two spoiled teenagers and a boy-toy who's also involved with both kids. A Sundance Film Festival Award Winner.	N/A
	Lost Skeleton of Cadavra - spoofing the 1950's "B" horror movies, this one has it all - dim-witted scientists, a dim-witted wife, dim-witted invaders from another planet and a mutant monster. Considering it was made in only a few days on a very small ($100,000) budget, it's a gem. It captures the look, feel and sometimes silly dialogue of the 1950 low-budget horror films. And I almost forgot - a talking Bucky that any of us could do a better job of making move and speak...

	13 Ghosts - And all-American family inherits a haunted house...a tongue-in-cheek William Castle classic.
	13 Ghosts - the Remake - IMHO, not as good as the original. There was a lot of things left unexplained as if we were all familiar with the Black Zodiac or something like that. Lemme put it this way - when it was on pay-per-view for $3.99, part of me rejoiced that I hadn't blown $8 on seeing it at the theater, the rest of me angry that I'd blown $3.99 and not waited another couple of months until it was on HBO or Showtime. Another tip - when the video of a fairly recent release retails for $6.99 or so, I think that speak volumes as to its popularity.
	The Tingler - Epitome of William Castle's 1950's B-movie with a gimmick. This one feature theater seats wired to a buzzer. When the Tingler zapped a victim, the selected seats in the theater buzzed with patrons jumping to their feet to claim they'd been shocked.
