My collection epitaphs came from a variety of sources including, but not limited to, the Howl and Halloween-L mailing lists, magazines, books, friends, visitors to this website, incoming messages and the like - I even made up a lot of them myself. As my collection has grew larger & larger, I've began to categorize them.

I'm still in the process of re-organizing the list, so you may find some that may belong elsewhere or may belong in more than one category, so be sure to browse . . . Newest addition - the musical section - based on characters in plays and songs by some of the
greats, starting with Cole Porter, Noel Coward and moving outward from there
