There are loads and loads of Halloween myths - haunted houses so scary that nobody has ever made it through the entire site alive or without running out midway through screaming in terror, someone killed for showing up in costume at the wrong house and assumed to be a real killer, funhouse mummies that turn out to be real (that one actually IS real from my hometown of Long Beach, CA), etc. But instead of trying to collect them all and keep them updated myself, I've decided to simply put a link to Snopes.com's Halloween section. If you haven't happened across snopes.com before, it's THE place to go to research urban legends, email scams ("If you send this email to everyone you know, Microsoft will track it through the internet and send you $500 for every person you send it to!") false computer virus scares and the like.
