Ah yes, 1998 . . . Mom as the Big M&M and Paul wasn't off singing this year and came as the Grim Reaper. Mike couldn't find his camera until late in the evening, by which time some of the spooks had headed home or to other parties. But "the potluck boys" were there again in yet another stunning group effort as a coven of cooks - Randy was a big hit with "Cooking in the Nude" (hence all the plastic "bare buns" shots), Richard was "Frugal Gourmet", Jon was "Jonnie's Hot Chili", Robert was "Martha Stewart" (I guess that would be after a sex change! Would that be "a good thing?") and Paul S. was "Roadkill Cafe" complete with bloodied dismember stuff kitty cat toy. Gross, but none the less fun! The ever delightful Dana was back as "Leather Biker Chick" and Melissa was rocker Gary Neuman (I know that's not quite right and I'm going to get nailed for getting her hero wrong!) And who can forget Mark in his blond Star Trek babe persona?!?!?! I'm not a trekkie - if I were, I'd remember the character's name . . . now if it were a character from Red Dwarf or Northern Exposure on the other hand, I could give you name, rank, serial number & bio . . . I want to lie shipwrecked and comatose |
